Kuwait curfew| Banks will operate till 2pm
Kuwait will be under a curfew from Sunday onwards for one month, Kuwait Banks Association issued a circular stating that the local banks working hours is until 2 o’clock in the afternoon, reports Al Anba. Banks that are located in industrial and commercial areas of Kuwait, will not operate during evening hours.
According to reports, banks will abide by the Cabinet’s decision to limit the number of employees in the workplace to 50% of the total number of employees within each department in the building
Kuwait reported 7,949 cases in December, which rose to 14,673 cases in January and jumped to 25,595 cases in February, according to official figures. The ministry of health reported as many as 5,645 new cases just in the first four days of March. In the past week, the number of cases rose by 30 percent to 8,473 cases over the previous month.
