Bhavans IES Celebrates Christmas in Hybrid Mode

The students from primary to grade 11 rendered melodious Christmas carols that sparkled with enthusiasm and merriment of the season.

Bidding a memorable farewell to the eventful year, Bhavans Indian Education School rejoiced the spirit of Christmas in hybrid mode. In a special assembly held in the morning, the students of primary wing rendered soulful carol songs. The preparations for the occasion started a week ago. The students of all the grades decorated their classrooms with garlands, lights, ribbons, and balloons. The Christmas trees decorated with stars, glittery balls, bells, candy sticks, and tiny Santa toys enhanced the spirit of Christmas.

The event, live streamed on the school YouTube channel, won plaudits from online students and parents alike. Joy and laughter filled the classrooms when Santa made a surprise visit to all the classrooms with sweets and toffees.

Despite all the challenges and obstacles posed by corona, Bhavanites celebrated the day, looking forward to the coming year with hope and optimism. Mr. N.K. Ramachandran Menon, chairman, Bhavans Middle East and Mr. T. Premkumar, principal, Indian Education School extended heartfelt Christmas wishes to the students, staff, and the parent community. The celebrations came to an end at 2 p.m. and it was indeed a feast for eyes to see students donning red and white dress bustling about the campus wishing their teachers and friends a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
