Breathtaking pic of Shimla goes viral. Desi Twitter shares fond memories

There are some places in our country that can simply take your breath away in terms of beauty, don't you think? Well, former Norwegian diplomat Eric Solheim definitely thinks so. How do we know, you ask? So, Solheim took to Twitter to post a scene-stealing picture of Shimla's mall road. And, it obviously went viral online.

The former diplomat took to the microblogging platform to post the stunning picture of Shimla. It was a picture of the hill station's mall road speckled with the mountains and red-roofed houses in the background.

"Incredible India. This is not Europe but clean and green Shimla," reads the caption of the post.

After being shared online, the post garnered 32k likes and desi netizens were quick to share fond memories of their hometown.

"When I was studying in London I used to see architecture similar to my town. My friends used to be so so happy to see such beautiful buildings, but I was normal. Maybe it was because I had already lived in Europe of India," a user wrote.
