Why, you ask? Well, the man's grandpa had actually kept a record of all the films that he had watched. Yes, you read that right. The internet called him a true cinephile and we agree.

The now-viral post was shared by a user named Akshy on Twitter. The post featured pages from a diary with names of films, their languages and the date on which they were watched was written by hand. The meticulous record consisted of 470 films, according to Akshy.

Akshy also called it his grandpa's version of Letterboxd. For the unversed, Letterboxd is a social platform for sharing your taste in films and also acts as a diary to record all the films that you have watched.

"Long long ago, my grandfather created his own version of Letterboxd to keep record of the movies he had watched. I’m awestruck by the fact that he’s watched Hitchcock and James Bond films in theatres," reads the caption of the post.

In separate tweets, Akshy also mentioned the number of films on the record. Moreover, the entries were from 1958 to 1974.

The post obviously grabbed a lot of eyeballs online and the internet was simply stunned after looking at the record.
