The Bihar-born penned a note in Hindi wherein he shared his ordeal of personal struggles, alcohol and smoking addiction, and how some life decisions turned out to be the worst for him and his family.

Bihar's Sushil Kumar rose to fame in 2011 after he emerged as the winner of Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He, recently, shared his personal ordeals that he faced post his win.

Sushil Kumar, the 2011 winner of Amitabh Bachchan's show Kaun Banega Crorepati rose to fame after he took home Rs 5 crores in season 5. Sushil who hails from Motihari, Bihar, walked away with a cheque of Rs. 3.5 crore after taxes. A computer teacher by profession, it was indeed a dream come true moment for Sushil. It has been close to eight years now since he won the show.

However, after many years, Sushil recently made headlines with his long Facebook post. The Bihar-born penned a note in Hindi wherein he shared his ordeal of personal struggles, alcohol and smoking addiction, and how some life decisions turned out to be the worst for him and his family.

Sushil titled his post as "The worst part of my life was after I won KBC." "2015-2016 was the most challenging time of my life. I was no less than a celebrity, as a result of which, I was invited for functions and various events in Bihar almost 15 days in a month." Sushil also wrote that, that he invested in several ventures which were also of no use.

While his professional life was not going well, Sushil's marriage hit rock bottom. His wife complained that he did not know how to differentiate between good and bad people and that he does not worry about the future.

Further in the post, Sushil has also mentioned that some good things also happened with him when he was in Delhi. But the phase was shortlived as he got addicted to alcohol and smoking. He then landed in the city of dreams Mumbai to try his luck in filmmaking but instead worked in a few TV soaps as a scriptwriter.

"You can never calm down you ego. It’s a thousand times better to be a good human than a famous one,” he said," he concluded his post. Sushil is back in his hometown and is working as a teacher there now.
