Saudi Arabia reports 67 new coronavirus cases

As part of precautionary measure, work has been suspended in private sectors.

As the number of COVID-19 cases are increasing globally, Saudi Arabia reported 67 new cases, Health Ministry on Wednesday confirmed, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 238.

Of the 238 cases, 6 have recovered from the infection, while the rest stay under quarantine.

As part of precautionary measure, work has been suspended in private sectors. Except healthcare and food services, all the other sectors will remain shut for a period of 15 days starting Thursday. Prayers in mosques will also be suspended in a effort to stop the spread the virus.
