Brown camels turn white as snow blankets parts of Saudi Arabia
Snow has blanketed parts of the countries in the Middle East including Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel.
In some areas it has lead to road blockades, postponement of vaccination campaigns and has hit even exams at some universities.
The Tabuk region of Saudi Arabia also experienced snowfall on Thursday. The adjoining mountainous region, including Jebel Al Lawz, was covered with white snow.
A video of a couple of camels seen sitting on a path covered in snow has gone viral.
In the video the camels can be seen enjoying the change in weather and are looking least bothered about the impact of snow turning parts of their bodies into white colour.
Authorities in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday had issued weather warnings for several regions across the Kingdom for this weekend.
The advisory noted that thunderstorms, cold showers and brisk winds were expected in the capital Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, the Eastern Province, Qassim, Tabuk, Hail, the Northern Borders Province, Asir, Al Baha, Jazan, Najran and Jawf.
The snowfall started on Wednesday evening and continued till Thursday morning in northern parts of the Neom region.

The area is a tourist destination, and snowfall enhances the natural beauty. People came from different regions to observe the snow, and enjoy the beauty and splendor of these destinations.

On the other hand, many government agencies in the Tabuk region, have intensified rescue operations along the roads leading to the sites of snowfall as the roads have become slippery.
Motorists are advised to drive carefully to avoid accidents.
