Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah receive fresh showers; Temperature drop considerably

As per the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather is expected to turn humid over coastal areas by Sunday morning.

Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah received moderate to heavy rainfall over the last two days, flooding the valleys and mountainous areas. The downpour has left massive puddles which have clogged the roads.

Tankers have been deployed to drain out the accumulated rainwater, and to clear the roads off uprooted trees and wastes.

The RAK and Fujairah law enforcement bodies warned the public against the slippery roads and low visibility, and advised them to avoid the valleys.

As per the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the weather is expected to turn humid over coastal areas by Sunday morning.

The wind is to be light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly, freshening at times, with speed of 15-25kmph, which can reach up to 30kmph. The sea is to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
