UAE records 30,000 COVID-19 violations in last 41 days

All relevant authorities at the state level monitor and track violations of previously announced procedures.

The UAE authorities have issued over 30,000 violations related to COVID-19 since the beginning of 2021.

With the onset of the pandemic, there is a constant concern for transparency and openness towards the society on the basis that it is a partner in taking responsibility, and has a key role in recovery.

The authorities said, “We would like to emphasize the importance of adhering to all precautionary measures, in order to ensure the safety and health of our society and to preserve the gains.

“All relevant authorities at the state level monitor and track violations of previously announced procedures.”

The health experts said, “Since beginning of 2021, more than 30,000 violations have been monitored, most notably non-compliance with wearing masks, non-compliance with precautionary measures in commercial places, non-compliance with physical spacing, number of people in cars, and monitoring of gatherings.”

The UAE has an advance health care system, that has succeeded in establishing and rehabilitating hospitals and providing them with all the help to deal with potential cases of infection, and to conduct the necessary medical tests for the largest population.

With the announcement of new strains of the virus around the world, the UAE’s track and test approach have been developed to ensure that these cases are monitored.

The authorities at the beginning of the pandemic, launched the “UAE Volunteers” campaign, the largest of its kind in the UAE with a traditional or virtual opportunities, which sets a unique precedent for the UAE to volunteer for society.

Volunteers were trained through MoHAP to support UAE medical system. Federal Youth Authority has launched national initiatives to increase readiness of young Emiratis to deal with pandemics. Also launched a guide to taking care of senior citizens during epidemics.

The UAE has also launched a campaign of 10 million meals to support the individuals and families who are in urgent need affected by the exceptional circumstances caused by the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus.

UAE has launched the National testing from home initiative catering for people of determination for both UAE nationals and residents, complementing its efforts to promote safety and public health in the community, who are unable to easily access screening centers

The UAE has developed many specialized programs by experts with the aim of providing psychological support to different groups of society in the belief in the importance of mental health.

The UAE proved its readiness, through managing the largest volunteering program, which supported the efforts of our first line of defense & promoted a culture of virtual volunteerism to help the community.
