Ajman launches initiative to vaccinate MoI retirees, their families at home

According to an earlier order all the cafes in Ajman were told to close by 11:00pm.

The Ajman Police General Command implemented "Your Health is Our Priority" initiative, aiming to vaccinate the Ministry of Interior (MoI) retirees and their families with the COVID-19 vaccine at home.

The initiative was implemented under the supervision of Captain Saud Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Director of the Non-commissioned Officers and Personnel Affairs Branch, in coordination with the medical staff at Al Hamidiyah Health Centre in Ajman.

Captain Hosani stressed that this initiative comes in order to communicate with the retired associates, to ensure that they and their families are good and to provide them with vaccine at home, to save time and effort.

Recently, the Ajman Emergency and Crisis and Disaster Team has allowed all cafes in the Emirate to remain open till one O’clock at night starting from March 15.

Authorities have made it mandatory for all service providers in the cafes and restaurants to conduct a weekly PCR examination.

Those who have got both doses of vaccine are exempted from weekly PCR test provided they prove it through Al Hosn app.

Cafes are also asked to adhere to the social distancing of no less than two metres between the tables and the number of people shall not be more than 4 persons per table.

The Ajman Emergency and Crisis and Disaster Team has urged all restaurants and cafes owners to comply with the decision while taking all preventive and precautionary measures.
