Sharjah Police conclude vaccination campaign benefiting over 2,000 workers

The campaign targets Muwailih and Al Majaz, to provide coronavirus vaccine doses

Sharjah Police General Command launched a vaccination campaign, which lasted from 29 March until 2 April, within the framework of the continuous campaigns to strengthen preventive measures to contain and limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The campaign targets Muwailih and Al Majaz, to provide coronavirus vaccine doses for workers dealing with members of the public at their workplace enabling them to carry out their professional duties in safe sanitary conditions, without the need to leave their workplace to receive the vaccine in the centres designated for this purpose.

Colonel Omar Al Ghazal, Deputy Director of Sharjah Police Special Tasks Department and Chairman of the Labor Inspection Committee, stated that the campaign benefited more than 2000 people.

The Chairman of the Labour Inspection Committee affirmed that the Sharjah Police General Command has spared no effort to promote the health and protection of members of society in all its segments in addition to providing all health and safety measures for the targeted labour groups in their various locations.
