UAE to allow only vaccinated people into events, exhibitions and social gatherings

Unvaccinated people must present a negative PCR result within a maximum of 48 hours prior to the date of the event.

The UAE has announced that all vaccinated residents can attend social events and official events all across the emirates beginning from June 6.

The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), said that the letter E must be visible in the Al Hosn mobile application, and all precautionary and preventive measures must be taken into account in organizing these events, such as wearing a mask, leaving a safe distance and physical distancing.

The ministry said that all vaccinated residents can attend all events, exhibitions, activities and events, including sports, cultural, social and artistic.

The health ministry, in cooperation with the concerned health authorities and federal and local authorities, was keen to provide the best preventive services for members of society during this exceptional period, including providing vaccination service against COVID-19, and facilitating procedures for obtaining the vaccine.

The health sector said the vaccine has become available in various regions of the country, in addition to the availability of mobile clinics service to provide adequate care by specialists to those living in areas far from cities, and the cooperation of the private health sector in this regard, which contributed to supporting national efforts to reach the stage of recovery.

The authorities said, “Today we see the fruit of efforts, as we are pleased to announce that the UAE is at the forefront of the rate of vaccine distribution to become the first country in the world in distributing COVID-19 vaccine per 100 people.

“This achievement is a testament to the success of the national vaccination campaign and the state's proactive approach to achieving a sustainable recovery.”
