Travellers with UAE visa issued by other emirates can land at Abu Dhabi airport
Abu Dhabi has issued fresh guidelines for Indian travelling to the UAE. The emirate said that Indian passengers holding visas issued by other Emirates can enter Abu Dhabi by adhering to the protocols.
The statement was made by Air India Express.
The statement read, “Holders of all types of visas (tourist, residents, and visit) issued by other Emirates are allowed to enter Abu Dhabi airport by adhering to the protocols mentioned below.
All passengers coming from India must:
— Take a Rapid PCR test in airport before departure from origin
— Passenger should get ICA approval and then register in ICA smart registration website (UAE nationals are exempted).
— Provide vaccination certificate when departing from the origin airport.
— Carry negative PCR test results with tests taken within 48 hours before departure. Test report should be from the authorised labs that generate a QR code.
— Take a PCR test upon arrival.
— Vaccinated passengers must retake PCR on day 4 and day 8 depending on the duration of their stay.
— Unvaccinated passengers will be subjected to institutional quarantine or home quarantine. They should wear a medical wristband and retake PCR test on Day 9.
— Arriving passengers below 16 years of age are exempt from the above criteria.
— Unvaccinated passengers who want to continue their journey to other Emirates should only take the airport taxi or the approved buses.
