Irish Riverdance steals the show at Expo 2020 Dubai

The cultural phenomenon of Riverdance, inspired by Irish traditions and heritage, which started on Nov.4, and will run until Nov.27.

Riverdance enthralled the visitors at Expo 2020 Dubai on Saturday with a breathtaking hour-long show at Jubilee Park.

The Grammy Award-winning music and dance performance took to stage at Expo with a specially curated rendition of the Riverdance 25th Anniversary Show, the “Riverdance at Expo.”

Ever since the Irish Pavilion, in partnership with Expo Dubai 2020, announced the news of Riverdance, a massive crowds were eagerly waiting for it.

The cultural phenomenon of Riverdance, inspired by Irish traditions and heritage, which started on Nov.4, and will run until Nov.27.

For the first time, the show comprises Arabic influences to guarantee a memorable Middle Eastern effect.

UAE residents can also have the once in a lifetime opportunity to audition for a coveted place in the lively cast, and put their dancing skills to the test with regular masterclasses led by the professional Irish dancers.

Pat Hennessy, Commissioner General of the Ireland Pavilion at Expo noted “Ireland’s theme for Expo 2020 Dubai is Putting Creativity at the Centre of Human Experience with music, art and design at the heart of this theme.
