Indo-Belarusian Mira Singh returns to Al Wasl Dome for Expo 2020 Dubai closing ceremony

As the curtain comes down on Expo 2020 Dubai, glamorous Mira Singh returned to Al Wasl Dome for the outstanding closing ceremony on Thursday.

The little girl’s performance at the Expo 2020 opening ceremony dazzled the world. The 11-year-old Indo-Belarusian girl is not new to the world stage.

Global artists Christina Aguilera, Nora Jones and cellist Yo-Yo Ma performed at the LCD-lit Al Wasl Dome, Expo's centrepiece, as pyrotechnics lit up the sprawling site.

Mira is a veteran. She has been featuring in commercials for Aldar Properties and Ikea. She started her career as a child model at the age of six.

Mira Singh, born in the UAE, to Indian father and Belarusian mother. She goes to JSS International School at Jumeirah Village Circle.

Mira Singh performed several remarkable performances at the opening ceremony of Expo 2020 Dubai, most notably the "golden rings " with Emirati star Habib Ghuloom, through which she represents hope and the future for the world.

The announced was made by Amna Belhoul, Executive Creative Director of the opening ceremony of the Expo 2020, where she confirmed that the girl, whose identity and clothes appeared in the Emirati character, represented the UAE's hope and ambition for the whole world.

The Expo 2020 opening ceremony was broadcast live on over 430 locations across the UAE.

The opening ceremony of Expo 2020 combined visual, musical and dazzling performances, as a selection of world-famous and Arab artists gathered for an unforgettable night.
