UAE announces fuel prices for the month of July, Super 98 at Dhs4.63 per litre

The July’s new price of a litre of Super 98 petrol will be sold at Dhs4.63 per litre in all fuel stations.

The UAE energy ministry significantly raised the prices of petrol and diesel for the month of July, taking effect on July 1.

The prices of all types of fuel exceeded the Dhs4-mark for the first time in the history of the UAE.

These prices include a value-added tax of 5 per cent.

The July’s new price of a litre of Super 98 petrol will be sold at Dhs4.63 per litre in all fuel stations.

The price of a litre of Special 95 petrol will be at Dhs4.52.

The litre of E-Plus 91 will be Dhs4.44.

Diesel will be sold at Dhs4.76

On the other hand, the price of Opec basket of thirteen crudes stood at US$117.64 a barrel on Wednesday, compared with US$117.55 the previous day, according to Opec Secretariat calculations.

The Opec Reference Basket of Crudes is made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela).
