Free parking in Sharjah on July 30 on occasion of Islamic New Year

Sharjah City Municipality announced that public parking in the city of Sharjah on Saturday, July 30, is free on the occasion of the Islamic New Year.

The parking tariff will be applicable from Sunday, July 31.

However fees will be collected where blue plates are installed even on official holidays.

The authorities confirmed that the inspection teams would continue to follow up on the positions and monitor any abuses or misuse of the positions.

Sharjah Municipality is keen to prepare and provide parking for residents and visitors, especially in vital and tourist areas, and to save the trouble of searching for a parking spot.
