Mild earthquake felt by residents in UAE

The stations of the National Seismological Network of the National Center of Meteorology recorded a 1.9 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale off the coast of Dibba Al-Fujairah at 20:03 on Thursday.
The quake was felt in the region, and has no influence in the state.

The National Centre Meteorology (NCM) said, “A 1.9 Magnitude Earthquake on Richter scale is recorded in Coast of Dibba Al Fujairah at 20:03, 02/03/2023 UAE time.
According to the NCM, “Slightly felt by the residents and without any effect in UAE.”
The authorities urged members of the public to take information from relevant sources and not to follow on rumors.
