Hot, humid weather to persist throughout the week in UAE, residents urge to remain hydrated
Wednesday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy at times with low clouds appearing in the morning on the eastern coast and a gradual rise in temperature, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
The weather will be humid at night and on Thursday morning in some coastal and inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog, it added.
Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will blow, turning to active at times during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular waves in the Sea of Oman, it said.
Thursday’s weather will be clear to partly cloudy, particularly in the north and east, but will be humid at night and on Friday morning in some coastal and inland areas with a chance of fog or light fog, it added.
Light to moderate southeasterly to easterly winds will blow in the east and northeasterly to northwesterly in other areas, turning to active at times in the east and to and sand-stirring during the day, it said.
The sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular to moderate waves but may become rough at times at night in the Sea of Oman, it added.
Friday’s weather will be hot and clear to partly cloudy and dusty at times with low clouds appearing in the eastern coast, it said, adding that it will be humid at night and on Saturday morning in some western areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
Light to moderate northeasterly to southeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times and sand-stirring during the day at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, it said. The sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf but will be rough in the morning and will have later moderate to regular waves in the Sea of Oman, it added.
Saturday’s weather is expected to be hot and clear to partly cloudy at times with low clouds appearing in the morning over the eastern coast, it said, adding that it will be humid at night and on Sunday morning in some western areas with a chance of fog or light fog.
Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active at times and sand-stirring during the day in the east, it said, adding that the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and regular to moderate waves in the Sea of Oman, which may become rough at times at night.
