Sultan Al Neyadi shares image of Tokyo on the occasion of Japan PM’s visit to UAE
Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, who is currently visiting the UAE, from aboard the ISS with a special message and photo of Tokyo.
Neyadi shared the night photo Tokyo taken from the ISS and wrote on Instagram, “Hello and こんにちは to all our friends from #Japan.
“I am sharing this photo of the Japanese capital #Tokyo on the occasion of the Prime Minister of Japan's visit to the UAE 🇦🇪🇯🇵.
“Today marks a historic milestone for both nations. With the signing of strategic agreements between MBRSC and Japanese partners, we are paving the way for a promising future.
“Japan holds a special place in my heart, and I will never forget the wonderful days I spent there during the preparations for my mission.🤍”
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, expressing his confidence that the visit would consolidate the robust and longstanding partnership between the two nations and support their shared vision for a sustainable and prosperous future.
Sheikh Mohamed noted that bilateral relations with Japan date back to before the foundation of the UAE, and that last year the two sides celebrated the 50th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic ties.
