Flashback: How and why did Michelle Obama fall heels over head in love with Obama?
Introducing the latest series of talks, Michelle Obama in her "The Michelle Obama Podcast" talks firstly abouther loving, dear husband, Barack Obama. Being the most anticipated podcast for a long time, everybody was enthusiastic about the contents of the talk.
The first episode ran for 48 minutes beginning with a series of highly engaging and thought-provoking conversations. From discussing the influence of politics on the youngsters to how their family, including their children Sasha and Malia, have been coping with the current situation of Covid-19 pandemic, the conversation touched many aspects of their lives and the society.
But the most interesting part came when Michelle Obama took us back to a time when she madly fell in love with Obama.
She says, “You're cute, but you know. One of the reasons I fell in love with you is because you’re guided by the principle that we are each other’s brothers' and sisters' keepers.” Going back in time she says, “I can say that my family, my neighbourhood, my notions of community growing up shaped that view, and shaped the choices that I made in life as I felt your experiences shaped yours.”
