One of world’s richest man Elon Musk’s kids does not want to be related to their biological father anymore. Born a boy, Xavier Alexander Musk, has filed a plea seeking a change in her name in accordance with her new gender identity.

Xavier had filed the petition seeking both a name change and a new birth certificate that reflects her new gender identity with the Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica in April.

The reason for the name change in the documents is mentioned as “Gender Identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”

Musk’ transgender daughter, who was formerly known as Xavier Musk, filed documents to change her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, a day after her 18th birthday in April, TMZ reported. It is worth mentioning here Vivian is eliminating the Musk surname, instead, taking her mother’s maiden name – Wilson.

She is the daughter of Musk and Justine Wilson, who were married from 2000 to 2008. Their first son, Nevada, was born in 2002 and died when he was just 10 weeks-old. He passed away due to sudden infant death syndrome.

Meanwhile, Vivian and her twin Griffin were born in 2004 and are the eldest of the Tesla CEO’s seven children.

While neither Musk nor Vivian have said anything publicly about their relationship or the latter’s transition, the former had in July 2020 tweeted, "Pronouns suck.” He, however, came in support of trans rights months later, but added “these pronouns are an esthetic nightmare.”

Meanwhile, Musk was recently sued by a Dogecoin investor for heavily promoting and abetting a “dogecoin pyramid scheme” which caused heavy financial losses to scores of investors. Keith Johnson said he lost money in Dogecoin investments after being in roped in what he describes as “Dogecoin Crypto Pyramid Scheme”.
