A bride chopped her hair on her wedding day to donate them to cancer patients.

A video of the bride sneaking out of her wedding reception party to get her haircut done has gone viral on social media. The video shows the bride announcing that she will cut her long hair to donate them to cancer patients.

"So, here I am taking out my wedding hair and I am donating them to cancer," she said in the video.

After the haircut, the bride was left with shoulder-length hair. She screamed with joy when she glanced at herself in the mirror.

"I will never forget this....After loosing my mom to Cancer I saw first hand how challenging the hair loss can be for a woman. @bri_pierson you're so amazing for doing this," the viral reel, posted by @theunfilteredcollective on Instagram, is captioned.

The Instagram reel video has gone viral, garnering more than 1.7 lakh likes. While many netizens were left teary-eyed after watching the video, others praised the bride for the thoughtful gesture.
